Brian Boals went beyond his job responsibilities when my husband and I were looking for a home when we were relocating here to Colorado Springs. He spent a holiday weekend showing us many homes, and answered many questions we had about the city of Colorado Springs. Since he grew up in this city he is a wealth of information, plus it helps since he comes from a real estate family. His outgoing personality is a big plus, encouraging us through the whole process of buying a home. We are forever grateful for all his help and would use him again should the need ever arise.
A few specific points come to mind when I reflect back on our house hunting experience with Brian. The first was his willingness to set aside time every week or two for several months to take Bob and I out even though we were not prepared to make an offer on anything, yet. By doing this we were able to get a better feel for what was available in the Colorado Springs market.
Secondly, Brian's experience was obvious when it came time to write a contract. Some of the things he suggested writing in never would have occurred to Bob and I, like having the carpets cleaned by the seller because they had dogs. It was reassuring to us to see Brian's level of confidence and knowledge in working through the contract and closing processes and integrity and honesty in his dealings with us.
One last thing...I'll never forget, we met a friend of Brian's during our first weeks in Colorado Springs and the first thing she said to us was that he would become more than our realtor, but a friend. Her words have proven true. Thanks Brian!

We needed to sell our home quickly to be able to cash in on some relocation benefits from my husband's current employer. Brian did a tremendous job of selling our home quickly in an awful housing market by pricing it correctly and negotiating well with the buyers once an offer was made to get us the best selling price available. He was a pleasure to work with both when I purchased and sold my first home and then again when I purchased and sold my 2nd home in 2008. We would have used him again but we moved out of his selling area.

To Whom it may concern:
The question is not "What does Brian Boals do?"; it is what he didn't do, that impressed us.
As homebuyers coming cross-country to find a home, Brian, didn't waste our time.
He found homes that met our exact criteria.
He didn't spend endless hours on the phone, trying to convince us that we needed something "other" than we did.
He didn't show us homes we didn't want to see.
He didn't take us to homes we couldn't afford, nor did he take us to ones that needed extensive work done.
He didn't take us out to the boonies, or downtown. He knew we didn't want to live there.
In essence, Brian listened, carefully. He heard our voices and made note.
He spent countless hours searching for what "we" wanted in a home, not what he wanted, not what sale would benefit him.
He found OUR home. He found it at the right time, the right place, with the right specifications, and at the right price.
Had Brian only done what every realtor "does" we wouldn't have found the home we are living in today.
Because he stepped "out of the box" and saw our family as unique, valuable, and worth his attention,
he was able to find us our home.
Realtors often have a thankless job, until they sell someone's home, or help a buyer negotiate through the complicated web of real estate.
The investment is great. But because we invested in Brian Boals, we invested wisely.
Thank you, Brian, and your team for not just "doing" what all the other realtors do...
Thanks for going above and beyond!

Brian helped us find our first house! He walked us through the entire process-- took us to a ton of houses to help us find exactly what we were looking for in the location and price range we were looking for. He listened and made sure the house had everything that my husband and I both wanted, and was amazingly patient with us as we came to a consensus on our fabulous house! We closed without a hitch and love the house more every day!
As a first-time home buyer, I was apprehensive about the entire process and about finding a house that I would be happy with. When I first met Brian, he sat me down and spent about an hour and a half walking me through the process and the steps we'd take from the beginning all the way through closing. His assistance didn't stop there though; we looked at a few places at first so he could get an idea of what I wanted and so I had some ideas with which to narrow my search. Once he had a good idea of what I wanted, he put together a list of houses and townhomes to look at. He always had an open mind and never got frustrated when I couldn't decide what I liked or when I changed my mind about what I wanted. After a few weeks, when we found the place I eventually bought, Brian was even more excited than I was! Once I closed, he stayed in contact with me to make sure everything was working out and to make sure I had covered all of the loose ends. He even recommended a couple of property managers for me to use while I deployed. Brian is a personable, knowledgeable realtor who cares about his clients and will work hard to get them exactly what they want. I would recommend him to anyone!
